Each client is given a unique API Key in their Ruler Dashboard. You can generate a new Key at any time should you need to, however please note this will make any previously generated API Key invalid. 

Head to Settings > Site Set up and generate your API Key. If you believe you may have already generated an API key, please wait a moment to give the system a chance to load up any active keys you may have.

When would I need to generate an API Key?

  • If you are utilising our Closed Loop Marketing package, you will need an API Key to pass in any data from your CRM or 3rd party system.
  • If you are sending any data out of your Ruler dashboard to your CRM, Google Analytics, SQL database and so on.
